I am not in search of what to do to live forever but i am looking for the fountain of youth. to feel and look younger at all time.  I also love to read. I found this book and started reading it, I found this so wonderful and captivating.

If you did not know i hate living in the US i find that we are a culture less society and that it would be better if i live in Greece, Paris, Italy, South Africa even Canada would be better then this. So anywho of course our lifestyle in the US shows that we are a cancer laden society with all these health problems because of our diet and our stressful lifestyle.

I will be posting 1 secret at time so we all can benefit.

Henna'd Hair

So i tried henna for the first time and i do believe i liked it alot. it was really really really messy and time consuming which is such a big put off. but i would do this as a monthly treatment. First off i am kinda confused on mixing to achieve color placement. so i am going to experiment with that.  They say to use on dry hair which did not fell right to me so i wet mine and put it on wet hair which i will probably continue to do.

This time i just used Alma powder just for a strengthing and conditioning treatment. i did see a curl definition in my root area where it is the most curly. it had such cute curly cues. they say the more you henna the better it is for the hair so i will keep doing it i did not see any adverse reactions to it. Some say it is drying so i put alot of leave in after the treatment.

Here are some pics of the final result.... Also Alma powder is good for the skin so i used it as a facial mask also.

if you have any tips for me and would be glad to here from you. Thanks

Curried Carrot Soup serves 2 ~ $1.10 per serving ingredients 4 carrots, chopped ($.50) 1 avocado, coarsely chopped ($1.19) 1 stalk celery, coarsely chopped ($.05) 1/4 medium onion ($.05) 1 clove garlic, pressed 1 teaspoon curry powder ($.10) 1 1/2 cup water, as needed for blending salt and pepper.
In a blender, puree all ingredients until smooth and creamy. I think i am going to add ginger (i love it) calories: 236 fat: 14 gr carbs: 27 gr protein: 5 gr

I love all the ingrediants so i am going to try it this weekend it says raw (i will taste it first) but, i probably will cook it

Sugar Substitutes

Soo i am a straight stalker of other peoples blogs so of course i find so much information i want to keep it for myself so of course i am going to place it on my blog to reference back to. this comes from Chocolate Orchid.

Agave Nectar: Raw agave nectar has a mild, neutral taste. It is produced at temperatures below 118 degrees F to protect the natural enzymes, and is low on the glycemic index.

Coconut Sugar: Coconut Sugar is naturally low on the glycemic index, which has benefits for weight control and improving glucose and lipid levels in people with diabetes (type 1 and type 2).

Stevia: is a South American herb that has been used as a sweetener by the Guarani Indians of Paraguay for hundreds of years. The leaves of this small, green Stevia rebaudiana plant have a delicious and refreshing taste that can be 30 times sweeter than sugar. Unadulterated Stevia products may be safely used by both diabetics and hypoglycemics.

Organic Sucanat: the juice extraction processes are mechanical, and unlike typical sugar cane processing, no chemicals are added. Sucanat is non-refined cane sugar made by simply crushing freshly cut sugar cane, extracting the juice and heating it in a large vat. Once the juice is reduced to a rich, dark syrup, it is hand-paddled. Hand paddling cools and dries the syrup, creating the dry porous granules we call Sucanat. Nothing is added and nothing is taken out!

I am going to try this out and if it works i will never use sugar again. But can i use this for kool aid LMAO but i am serious.

why i went to natural products.

Now i am a person that will truly try anything 3 times. i love all types of food and i love to eat.

Short story of why i changed some things in my life when it comes to natural products is because i had horrible acne all i mean ALL of my life. i spent so much money on commercial products it was silly.

Sooo...one day i needed to wash my face and a friends friend made natural homeade soap and she gave it to me about a year ago to try. because it was handmade i cherished it a little to long and never used it.

One day i decided to try it and within a day my face cleared up it was crazy miraculous i am not exagerating. now the ingrediants were listed on the package that his OCD ass threw away. Now i remember things like oatmeal, almond oil, coconut oil, as some of the ingrediants.

I called my friend frantically and was like tell me what was in your product. but since then she stopped making soap and did not have a clue what she did (ho hum i was pissed)

Sooo. i went on line to make my on when i fell upon a website http://www.chagrinvalleysoap.com/

they have all natural ingrediants without one iota of chemicals now i have tried all their products damn near and you can sample for approximately 2.60 my skin seems to love simplicity

my personal soap is Goat Milk and Honey, Neem and Tea Tree,Olive and Shea, and Aloe Aloe Aloe.

this company also makes shampoo bars and many other products you have to check them out here is a list of ingrediants for the Goat Milk and HOney soap i use it for my face exclusively.

Goat Milk Honey Oatmeal Soap

It is said that Cleopatra took daily baths in goat’s milk. It has been used for years to moisturize & soothe dry skin, as well as to heal eczema & other skin conditions. Goat Milk is one of nature’s finest moisturizers. Alpha-hydroxy acids found naturally in Goat milk are believed to have rejuvenating effects on skin's cells. Oatmeal soothes sensitive skin. This creamy, gentle soap is a perfect marriage of oatmeal, goat's milk, & honey. The oatmeal exfoliates with a gentle touch as the honey traps and seals in moisture leaving skin soft and supple. The goat's milk lends a rich, creamy, and silky quality to the lather. The ground oatmeal provides a pleasant warm scent that blends delightfully with the milk and honey aroma. Many of our customers have reported that Goat Milk Honey Oatmeal soap has helped clear up their eczema.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of olive, palm, palm kernel, coconut, shea butter; sunflower; expeller pressed canola, and castor bean; goat's milk; oatmeal; raw honey; organic cornstarch.

water and the alternatives (recipes)

I have horrible time drinking water it is absolutely horrible you damn near have to put agun to my head well i found some alternatives that i am going to try. i have to because i have a kidney stone :(.  these recipes have added benefits for the skin and hair, so ummm lets drink up i guess.

Sassy H2O

2 liters of Water
1 tsp ginger grated
1 medium cucumber
1 medium lemon sliced
12 spearmint leaves.

mix and let sit overnight.

This is suppose to help keep your stomach flat and clear your GI tract.

Honey Cinnamon H2O

1-2 tsp of honey i prefer raw
8 oz of H20
sprinkle of cinnamone

ACV/BSM/Lemon/Honey Cocktail

1tsp of Apple Cidar Vinegar
1tsp Blackstrap Molassas
1tsp of raw honey
8 oz of Water (HOT)
juice of a lemon

Carrot Juice

Carrot juice is one of the richest sources of vitamin A that can be used in the daily diet. It also ranks high as a source of the other vitamins, especially those of the B complex. Its mineral content is equally rich, and includes calcium, copper, magnesium, potassium, sodium, phosphorus, chlorine, sulfur, and iron.

The vitamin A content of carrot juice helps to strengthen the eyes. In many cases where defective eyesight was noted--as during the war--the condition was overcome by fortifying the diet with fresh carrot juice.
I love to combine several different fruits and/or veggies in my juicer. Apple/grape is one of my favorites. Pineapple/carrot is nummy, too.

Random thoughts depending on the Day

It’s really hard when you feel like you are in a never ending chess game where you calculate every move you make and every word you say.
You are in a situation where no one understands you or have your best interest as a priority.
You try to hold on to your self, your self image, your values, your personality, your piece of mind, represent who you are at all times.
Want to experience life with a person whom you don’t even know if they love you enough to sacrifice themselves for you, as you have for them.
I have always been thankful that I have never been weak. But you wonder how you are as an individual, some people don’t like who you are, just because you are you.

Style is it stylish or not

Well this comes from people that are close to me or not making opinions on your personal style. For example my favorite color is black. dont know why or how it happens but i LOVE this color. i wear it damn near everyday.

My husband makes the comment you wear black all the time you would look nice in oranges, greens, reds, blues, anything but black....

Now at first i was considering taking his opinion on changing it up. but i started thinking, no i like black, this is my comfort zone and plus i just like it. I might add a little color here or there but no i am comfortable where i am in the black gray and brown realm. sorry if it is boring for you but i like it fine.

Second co workers who dont understand my hair. I like you better with straight hair. did i ask for your opinion, NO so why give it. i am sure when a lot of people see me they are taken aback from this huge mess sitting on top of my head. But i am growing to like it. it is my special fro damnit. Keep your mouth shut and dont touch my hair. Their favorite line is, you look like you stuck your head in a electrical socket.

HMMM things i can say to them back.

So anyway who is to say that your style is stylish or not. If you are happy why cant you wear pea green velvet trousers. why do we have to make a comment on something no one asked us for. My new goal is to KEEP MY FUCKING MOUTH SHUT! as should u. MUAH... Focus

FLEXI ROD SET I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH

So i have found my low manipulation hair style that i love sooo much. first off i did it myself which is a bonus and second off it was so easy, and third i look good in it. Now i dont know how long this will last AND it might get a little frizzy so i might have to find new products to use for the actual setting.

The products I used were:

Elasta QP Conditioning Creme Shampoo
HE Hello Hydration Conditioner (rinsed out)
Neutrogena Silk Leave in Conditioner
Vatika Oil (prior to setting over my whole head)

I set my hair with approximately 27 rods. the red in the back and the blue in the front.
I let my hair air dry which probably took 6 hours.

I removed the rods and used vatika oil again to seperate curls. Shook and go!

Let me know what you think!

after my wash
